Many different topics interest me, such as my house, my garden, fashion, decor, calligraphy, scrapbooking, speaking French, photography and travelling.
There will be no political references here, so you are safe, as that is one subject that is certainly not in my area of expertise.
For 2012 I am part of Project 365, and I am intending to blog every day for the whole year. I have chosen my garden as there is a lot of history there, and it is an ongoing project with plenty of material for writing and photography.
Halfway through the year, I decided to include my house as part of this project. As you can imagine, many subjects cross over from the house to the garden, and back again. Cats particularly spring to mind, as they often use the house as a shortcut to the back yard, with me as the door person.
Please note that all my photographs are copyrighted by me, and if you wish to use them for something, you will need my permission. Thank you and enjoy sharing my journey!

Love your blog and I’ve nominated you for the lovely blog award. http://afternoonpopcornsnack.com/2012/05/09/one-lovely-blog-award/
Thank you so much. It’s nice to be appreciated.
It is nice to meet another cat lover and I love your blog, keep up the great work. I should do my header of my cats, I just might change mine. Thanks.
Thanks Jackie. I am so enjoying this blogging business. Of course, some of my other hobbies,e.g. scrapbooking, have been taking a back seat to my gardening and writing. Go cat lovers!
